    To understand…. The brussels are raw? I don't think I've eaten them raw before. Are they not too hard or is it comparable to raw vs steamed cabbage?

    They are raw, which is definitely a different flavor and texture than cooked brussels. I think the trick to eating them raw like this is to chop them finely.
