I know my videos recently have been more indulgent than healthy, but who doesn’t like a treat every once in a while?? Especially when it involves chocolate and peanut butter…
24 chocolate sandwich cookies (ex: Oreo)
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter filling
1 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz whipped topping (ex: Cool Whip)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Crush the cookies until they’re a fine crumb-like consistency. Mix in the melted butter with a fork and then press into a pie pan, distributing evenly. Bake for about 5 minutes to set the crust. Remove from the oven and cool.
Beat the peanut butter and cream cheese until it is all incorporated and smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, beating slowly at first. Last, add in the whipped topping and beat until smooth. Pour filling into the completely cooled crust and chill in the refrigerator for at lest one hour before serving.
. Garnish with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chopped peanuts!
