Yesterday, I walked over to CorePower for a C2 class with one of my favorite teachers – little did I know, they changed the class for the day to be a new “Flight Class” instead. What does that mean? Oh, it means that it’s a 75 minute class that flows from C2 to Sculpt to Hot Power Fusion to Core Restore. Ummm wooops! Luckily, I actually really enjoyed the class. Those of you who know me know that I hate Sculpt, so this was a way to pump that iron without enduring a whole class of it… although, despite enjoying the class, I was DEAD by the end of it. I got home and drank SO much water… and all I wanted was carbs. That’s not really an abnormal craving for me (truth time haha), but yesterday I felt like I really earned them – and this recipe for Chicken Sausage and Broccoli Pasta was born!
I wasn’t even planning on shooting this, but it was so easy to throw together/the light was so beautiful when I finished, that I thought “Why not?!” I don’t know about you, but I love meals that don’t require a lot of ingredients and come together super fast. Plus, even though there’s pasta, you’re also getting protein from chicken sausage and 2 heads of broccoli goodness. Not bad at all!
I used these chicken sausages, but you could use whichever kind you like. Regular sautéed chicken works too! And feel free to reach gluten free noodle if you’re into that. I’ve made it with quinoa pasta before and it was great. Totally your preference!
Serve with parmesan or romano cheese on top! Yum!
Also, don’t you love my new serving bowl? It was a birthday gift from my sister – I’m OBSESSED!
