I don’t get dressed up every day. It’s something I’m extremely grateful for… I can do most of my work in my lululemon pants and a t-shirt, and focus more on my to do list than commuting or making myself presentable. I know, I’m very lucky! That being said, I still find myself in need of an affordable work dress…. and what’s more affordable than 30 BUCKS?! I’m serious, this dress is currently on sale PLUS 40% off. What are you waiting for?! (It comes in blue, too… just in case you’re not a magenta girl ?)
I didn’t buy it when it was THAT cheap, but I’m still glad that I picked it up when I did. It was the week before I flew out to Connecticut, and I thought it was perfect for my friend Danielle’s baby shower. I’ve worn it all around the city since then, mostly with tights and boots (because CHICAGO ?), but I love it with a small and sensible heel for a trip to the office or a day when I’m bopping around to meetings and appointments.
In fact, I shot this look the same day we shot this postfrom last week, for that very reason! It made so much sense to sync the two posts and include this picture, because I’m often looking for the easiest way to squeeze a workout in before or after another engagement. I mean, isn’t it nice when you only have to pack one comfy dress in your gym bag instead of pants, a top, a belt, etc? I’m all about that.
