AMEN to every single one of these points. I especially love the quotes that you peppered in (“We are all meant to shine…”) and your side note about dogs in #26 (yes!). Thanks so much for sharing these reflections. I love reading your blog 🙂

Wow I loved this! I’m currently an actor (musical theatre degree too!) and it can get tiring but I just love it too much. This really resonated with me though since I live in Chicago but want to get to NYC someday, thanks for the insight!

So many great lessons, Lauren! I turn 27 next month, and every year I inch closer to 30, I feel like I learn that much more.

P.S. – I’m an ENFP too 😉 Makes SO MUCH sense.

This is a great post! I love reading things like this because I’m in my early 20s and this is definitely something I can learn from (just bookmarked! haha).

Loved reading these, Lauren! Annnd so much yes to #16. I went on a little unfollowing spree and it felt so good. I truly hope those people don’t take it personal, because it’s really more about me than it is about them. I learned longgg ago not to even look at who’s unfollowing me! What I don’t know (in this case) won’t hurt me 🙂 Cheers to making the most of this next year of life!

Thanks for sharing 🙂 . I am also 30 and I don’t think I realized all of these things until I actually turned 30 and reflected on my life. Definitely agree about Chicago tho I miss is so much after 7 years! It’s where my heart is 🙂

LOVED this post Lauren — 6 days until I turn 30 and couldn’t agree more with your points. I especially laughed with I read you Briggs personality type because it’s so spot-on for you! Also I’ve long sensed that you were a highly sensitive soul (something I was embarrassed about for years in my family) and it’s been so liberating for me as an adult to embrace this natural “tuning” of mine!

    Happy 30th (AGAIN!),
