Great post! I always feel the need to justify myself. When I am taking an easy day at OTF (usually b/c of an upcoming long run), I want to wear a sign that says “I’m marathon training not lazy.” It shouldn’t matter, and I shouldn’t worry that people are judging me!

I love reading this…….I tend to be pretty positive, glass half full in my thinking and am sensitive when it comes to others. I don’t try to make people feel less than………But it is human behavior to react internally and externally when someone does something to either make themselves feel superior or make you feel less than. I don’t get and try not to fall into it. Definitely a sign for me to steer clear of people with that agenda. I think your reaction was totally normal!
