    Yes to ALL of this! I was just telling my friend Whitney last week that I feel like I was going through a little season where I just don’t feel up for pushing myself to the max, so I’m doing something I’ve never done before and I’m telling myself it’s okay if I don’t feel up for working out and would be better off taking a nap. It felt SO good to take the entire weekend off and allow myself to be lazy. And the sinus headache/congestion I woke up with on Friday morning is nearly gone….funny how that works. I hope you’re feeling 100% soon!

    Awesome post! Yes slowing down is so important. I’m constantly marathon training and ironman training coming up, so knowing when to listen to my body is soooo important. Off days are more beneficial to me than trying to do a workout when I’m not feeling well.

    Yes yes yes! It’s so important to listen to your body and give it what it needs. I typically have a good work/life balance, but there are some nights that I sit staring at my computer barely working and I have to tell myself to just put it away and spend time away from a screen and with my hubby. It can be so hard to do that, but sometimes your body and mind just need a break! Thanks for sharing 🙂
